About our Events

Dinners timings:

Unless otherwise stated our events all start with people meeting in the lounge from 7.00pm and if you have not pre ordered food we will take your order in the lounge whilst you are having your arrival drinks. You can go through to the restaurant and take your seats between 7.30 and 9.00pm. Live music starts at 9.00pm finishing at midnight.

Lunch Timings:

The bar will open from 12 noon, and you may take seats in the restaurant anytime between 12.30 – 1.30 when the music will begin at 1.30. Lunches finish approximately 3.30pm but you are very welcome to come through to the lounge and spend more time with friends enjoying an afternoon drink or two.

Our menu has a good variety of dishes, we do need the party organiser of parties of 10 or more to ask their group to pre-select their food please, 2 weeks before form our Party Menu, please call for a copy.

Lunches usually have buffet starters and desserts and a choice of dishes from our menu for your main course.

We require a 10.00 per person non-refundable deposit on all event bookings.

Our Events Manager can be contacted on 01737 246801, but in her absence any one of our team will do their very best to help you.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. DEPOSITS
In order to confirm your booking for events we require a 10.00 per person deposit, based on your approximate numbers, with numbers confirmed 2 weeks in advance, and a 10% variation in numbers allowed up to 48 hours in advance, in writing to [email protected]

For parties of 50 or more a further deposit of 10.00 per person is payable 3 months prior to the event.

This can be paid as a cheque made payable to Bridge House Hotel or by credit card by calling reception or events on01737 246801.

Provisional bookings may be released 28 days from date of booking without notice; however we will endeavor to contact you first.

Once your deposit is received it is deemed that you accept the following terms and conditions.

 

2. CANCELLATIONS
Once initial confirmation has been received, all cancellations or amendments must be advised in writing to the hotel.

THE HOTEL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL ANY ENTERTAINMENT NIGHT/LUNCH UP TO 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT SHOULD BOOKINGS NOT MEET THE THE MINIMUM NUMBERS. SHOULD THIS BE THE UNFORTUNATE CASE WE WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO TRANSFER YOUR BOOKING TO ANOTHER DATE OR FULL REFUND WILL BE GIVE ON ANY DEPOSIT OR PAYMENT.

 

For bookings in the Main Restaurant (non private use):

For parties of 7 or less the booking must be cancelled 7 days prior to the event or the deposit will be retained.

For parties of 8 or more the booking must be cancelled 14 days prior to the event or the deposit will be retained.

For groups of 20 or more the booking must be cancelled 28 days prior to the event or the deposit will be retained.

 

For Private Dining bookings:

Any private function bookings of less than 50 must be cancelled at least 4 months prior to the event or the deposit will be retained.

Any private function bookings of 50 or more must be cancelled at least 6 months prior to the event or the deposit will be retained.
